Apple Picking at Cook's Orchard

Logan and I went to Cook's Orchard with some friends to pick some apples. Logan has been an apple fanatic lately, so I thought it would be a fun activity for him to do. He talked about it all morning before we got there. He loved pulling the apples off the tree (and picking them off the ground). He carried his bag all over the orchard ALL BY HIMSELF! He didn't want any help; unfortunately he lost most of his apples out of his bag doing this, but he was very proud of himself and the apples he picked!! The kids had a great time and it was a wonderful outdoor activity for them to do. We'll have to plan on doing it again next year, but earlier in the season so there are more "good" apples to choose from!!!

The Chapel Harvest Party

Every year The Chapel hosts a Harvest Party for the kids to dress up, play some games, get some candy, eat some food and have some fun!! This year Logan dressed up as a monkey, or as he calls himself, "George." We all had a good time and it was fun seeing some of his friends dressed up in their costumes as well. Logan loved his costume so much, he did not take it off until bath time. He walked around the house saying George and making monkey noises. It was adorable.

Curious George Live

This weekend, we took off for Michigan to spend time with Glen's brother and his family. We had a wonderful time visiting with them, and the kids had a lot of fun playing together. As they get older, their interactions with each other are so fun to watch!!! As we were leaving, Logan and Abby hugged each other so hard they fell down and started laughing. It was adorable!!! While we were there, Alan, Andrew, Glen, Logan and I went to see Curious George Live. For those of you who know Logan at all, know he is absolutely CRAZY about George, so we couldn't miss this chance to see him live. Logan had a wonderful time and sat through all but 10 minutes of the show.

It's A..................

GIRL!!!!!
We had our ultrasound at 21 weeks, 5 days. The heartrate was 138 and she was EXTREMELY active. The technician had a very hard time getting a great picture because she wouldn't sit still long enough for her to snap a picture. She said she was 90% sure that it was a girl. We are very excited, but extremely happy she is healthy and growing strong!!! She's right one schedule, weighing 1 pound. She loves to punch my bladder and turn all around, especially around 11/11:30 at night.

All is Well....

It's been a while since my last post. Everything is going very well here in the Weaver household. Logan has been in preschool for a few weeks now and is absolutely loving it. As soon as I pull into the parking lot, he starts saying, "play, play." He hops out of the car as soon as the teacher opens the door, he's off to start his morning. His teachers always have wonderful things to say about it and funny stories to tell. I'm so thankful he is enjoying himself and behaving. He's also been in speech therapy for about a month now and we starting to see some progress in his words. He's using more of them and they are more understandable.
Baby Weaver is growing strong and is very active. I am being punched and kicked on a regular basis. I absolutely love the feeling and can't wait for Glen and Logan to be able to feel him/her move. We will find out on Wednesday whether it is a he or she, so that's definitely exciting for us. I will definitely let everyone know once we find out!! Let's just hope the baby cooperates.

Isn't he just so adorable?
